Controlling a computer with your mind might seem like science fiction, but following in the footsteps of mobile phones, virtual reality, and wireless earbuds, this Sci-Fi trope is hurtling towards reality. What is the current state of Brain-Computer Interfaces, and what does the future have in store for it? In this talk we'll start with the brain and work our way forwards towards understanding this new technology. We will be covering the basics of both brains and Brain-Computer Interfaces, so any knowledge base is welcome to come and learn!

Prerequisites

None! I will be covering all the basics that someone would need to know to understand my topics.

Take Aways

  • What the future of emerging BCI technologies will look like.
  • A general understanding of how BCIs interact with the brain.
