Design Your First Lego Set!

In this session you will learn how to design, build and share your own lego sets! To do this we’ll be using a free 3D modeling software, called BrickLink Studio. We will learn how to model our ideas using various bricks, colors and other pieces required. You will also get to learn how to create an instruction manual for your creation that includes step by step instructions for building it. Ensuring that you and others can bring it to life in the real world. You should walk away knowing how to find pieces by their descriptions in the software and how to place and rotate the lego pieces to fit your needs. You should also know how to turn that design into a set of instructions via the manual creator. We will discuss how to make simple things like a house, trophy, and a tiled floor. We will also briefly go over how to get these designs sent to your house with all the necessary bricks and instructions to make the set. In the end, we will all have a good time trying to design our own sets and helping each other with any questions people may have.
