This talk is about how perceptions and misunderstandings can adversely impact software development process. And how BDD can help using Gherkin language that can provide a common understanding to all stakeholders. I will go over some of the good practices that can help reduce rework and make solution delivery more efficient. Some of the topics that will be covered are: Perceptions and misunderstanding BDD, process and gherkin Automated testing and tooling Best practices and anti-patterns Some of the topics that will briefly be covered include TDD and the test pyramid and user personas.
