A sampler-level talk about some fascinating ML algorithms inspired by nature. This talk is like a plate of hors d'oeuvres, a starting point, aimed to pique your interest in one or more of these algorithms with details about how they work and how they have been used IRL (in real life) to whet your appetite and interest in pursuing them further. At the very least, you will gain new insights into how ML has evolved.
