Katie Selby

Katie Selby is an expert in early career talent development and emerging leadership. She has been coaching QuarterLife professionals through career & life transitions for more than 20 years in her roles as career coach, college recruiter, and leadership educator. Katie takes a design-thinking approach helping clients define current needs and prototype future possibilities. She is Founder of QuarterLife Coach LLC, offering Talent Development, Coaching, and Life Design for early career professionals. Katie is an experienced instructor and facilitator who brings energy to any audience. She is currently teaching Designing Your Life courses at the University of Minnesota Carlson School of Management and narrative coaching courses through Learning Journeys International School of Coaching. Katie thrives in both large group and small group engagements which require her to inspire positive change. Katie is a Certified Coach with the International Coach Federation (ICF) and a Certified Designing Your Life Coach. She holds a Bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State University in Human Resource Management and a Master's degree in Human Resource Development from the University of Minnesota. Katie is based in Minneapolis, MN where she lives with her husband, two sons, and Australian Shepherd puppy. She enjoys baking, paddleboarding, and traveling with her family.
